Chastain Park

Home to Atlanta’s largest city park, the Chastain Park neighborhood is a wonderful place to live and play. Located in the northwestern portion of Buckhead, this district is known for having lovely homes on tree-lined streets, which surround it’s crown jewel – the park itself.

Not your ordinary park, Chastain Memorial Park features an 18-hole golf course, a tennis complex, five baseball fields, a gymnasium with basketball court, playgrounds, a swimming pool, a 13-acre private horse park and stables, an amphitheater, and a 3.3 mile jogging, walking, and bicycling path.

Homes in Chastain Park come in a range of styles and scales. While there are still a number of original ranch-style homes, there are also many new constructions, of which some are quite grand.

A quiet neighborhood that’s close enough to everything to offer convenience and yet far enough removed from the commotion of the city to provide refuge for its residents, Chastain Park is understandably popular among families.

Chastain Park is districted to Warren T. Jackson Elementary School, Sutton Middle School, and either North Atlanta High School or Riverwood High School. Many children attend area private schools.
